Livestreaming

Why is this a livestream event?

The health and safety of our consultants is our top priority. We’re following recommendations from the U.S. Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Canada, and the World Health Organization (WHO) so we can make the best decisions based on credible information. Due to the constant changes from the coronavirus (COVID-19), which includes McCormick Place® (the original location for the event) being converted into a medical facility, we made the difficult decision to make this year’s National Conference a livestream event. Even though we can’t meet in person, we’re still excited to come together digitally.

How different will this event be compared to the in-person National Conference?

Like the in-person event, our National Conference livestream will be a "live” production with a virtual audience—with multiple sets, cameras, professional lighting and graphics, and so much more. There will be giveaways for general registration consultants, surprise and delights, exciting announcements from Home Office, product reveals, breakout sessions, Surprise Pack purchases, and more!

Will National Conference be done through Zoom® like Empower was?

For our National Conference livestream, our production team will livestream with video cameras from Pampered Chef’s Home Office and Video Test Kitchen through a private platform service.

Is there a maximum capacity for this event?

Yes, so make sure you reserve your spot right away! We have expanded our registration and want to make room for as many consultants as possible. The first 20,000 consultants who registered (general registration) will receive pre- and post-conference mailings.

We have an additional 4,000 overflow seats available, too! Consultants who register for overflow seats are not eligible for pre- and post-conference mailings. Once these overflow seats are gone, they’re gone!

What if I didn't register before the event reached capacity?

We’ve already reached our 20,000-consultant capacity for general registration. We have a total of 4,000 overflow seats available. For a reduced price, you can participate in all the general sessions and training, but will not receive pre- and post-conference mailings or general session giveaways.

How can I view the livestream?

You'll be able to watch from any device that can connect to the internet—phone, tablet, smart TV, laptop, etc. After registration closes, we’ll share all the details about how to log onto the platform. 

Will the livestreaming experience be different if I purchase an overflow seat?

Not at all! You’ll be using the same private livestream platform service as consultants who signed up before general registration closed. Please note that if you purchase an overflow seat, you will not be eligible for pre- or post-conference mailings or general session giveaways.

What is the difference between general registration and overflow registration?

While both general registrants and overflow registrants will have access to the same general sessions and training, there are a few differences to note:

Will consultants who join after June 1, 2020, be able to attend the National Conference livestream?

Consultants who join June 1–July 5 will be able to register for overflow seating.

Is there a new consultant price for overflow seating?

No. All consultants will have the option to register for overflow seating for $40 USD.

What if I won a free conference registration at U.S. 2019 conference?

Register as you normally would. The $0 registration fee will already be programmed for you.

What does general registration include?

General registration includes all general sessions, breakout sessions, giveaways, and access to the PC Marketplace online. And this year, the PC Marketplace will include Surprise Packs and PC Gear. Consultants who register will receive pre- and post-conference mailings, and be eligible for general session giveaways. Before the event, you’ll receive a conference kickoff kit that will include your name badge, ribbons, special recognition items, a conference gift, and a few other surprises!

What does overflow registration include?

Overflow registration includes all general sessions, breakout sessions, and access to PC Gear. You will not receive pre- and post-conference mailings, or be eligible for general session giveaways.

Why is the registration period so short?

Due to the changing circumstances surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and McCormick Place® (where we originally planned to hold this year’s conference event), we had to delay the opening of registration. We’re extending overflow registration through July 5 (or when we reach our 4,000-consultant capacity) to allow as many consultants as we can to experience National Conference for themselves!

Can I cancel my registration and not be penalized?

We are not able to provide refunds after you've registered, but you'll get access to replays you can watch any time. 

What payment method can I use to register for general registration?

General registration is now sold out. You still have the option to register for overflow seating.

You can use Visa, MasterCard®, Discover Card, or American Express®. Because we are using Eventbrite for registration, you will not be able to register using Pampered Chef dollars or Order Payment Accounts

If I register for general registration but am unable to attend, will I still get the giveaways?

Since it’s our 40th anniversary year and National Conference will be a livestream event, we’re sending conference kickoff kits and post-conference giveaways to the first 20,000 consultants who register. We encourage you to attend the live general sessions as you won’t want to miss out on all the announcements, training, new product reveals, or giveaways! But because you may not be available to watch and enjoy all the festivities in real-time, we’re recording all the events for you to watch on your own time.

If I register for overflow seating, will I still get the giveaways?

No. Our overflow seating option is available at a lower price and does not include pre- or post-conference mailings or general session giveaways.

Can guests still register for National Conference?

This year, guests don’t need to register for conferences. Instead, they can enjoy the livestream experience with you!

If I register during overflow registration, will I still be able to attend invitation-only events?

Yes! We’ll send out email invitations to these recognition events when we get closer to National Conference.

If I register during overflow registration, will I still get my ribbons and career-title scraper?

No. Consultants who register during overflow registration are not eligible for a conference kickoff kit.

Travel

Should I cancel my flight?

If you already made travel arrangements, you should work directly with your airline to cancel them.

Housing

I’m an executive director and already made hotel reservations. How do I cancel them?

If you booked within the official Pampered Chef hotel block, you don’t need to take any additional action; Your reservation should’ve been cancelled by Experient and your deposit refunded. It may take 30–60 days for your bank or credit card statement to reflect the refund. If you didn’t receive a cancellation notice or don’t see a refund on your bank or credit card statement by June 30, please contact Experient directly. They’re available by email at pamperedchef@experient-inc.com or by phone on weekdays from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (CT) using the numbers below:

Should I cancel my hotel reservation?

Pampered Chef housing blocks were not opened. However, if you booked outside our official hotel block, please follow the cancellation policy and cancel your reservation.

Events

Where will the events be located?

All events will come from our livestream platform. We’ll share more details with you soon. And if you miss this livestream event, don’t worry! Replays will be available to all consultants who register (both through general registration and overflow registration) for this exciting event. Think of it as your conference, your way! You can enjoy all the aspects of conference on your own time.

If I register during overflow registration, will I still be able to attend invitation-only events?

Yes! We’ll send out email invitations to these recognition events when we get closer to National Conference.

Where can I find the agenda for National Conference?

Check out the Agenda page. Please note the agenda is subject to change. 

Will there be a National Conference app this year?

No, there is no conference app this year. But rest assured, we are looking into new ways to make conference fun and engaging and allow you to network with other consultants.

Will Home Office/Heritage Home tours be available?

Yes! We’re offering virtual tours at no additional cost to anyone who registers (both through general registration and overflow registration) for National Conference. We’ll post details soon.

Can we pre-register for breakout sessions?

Actually, there’s no need to pre-register for breakouts this year. We’ll share details on how to access breakout sessions closer to the event. 

Will there be a Lead graduation this year?

Yes! Consultants who participated in Lead seminars will be invited to an exclusive virtual event on Thursday morning led by our Field Development Managers.

PC Marketplace

Will PC Gear be available?

Yes! PC Gear—our U.S. logo wear shop—will be available to all conference attendees with special offers for those who register (both through general registration and overflow registration) for National Conference. More details are coming soon!

Will Surprise Packs be available?

Yes. We’re offering consultants who register (during general registration only) the opportunity to purchase one National Conference Surprise Pack! Each consultant will be limited to purchase one (1) box, so we can make sure everyone can receive a Surprise Pack. Please note, shipping and U.S. sales tax (for U.S. consultants) will be added at the time of purchase. We’ll share more information closer to the event. Note: Make sure your address is up to date in your Pampered Chef profile. We will not reship items due to incorrect addresses.

Recognition

What is recognition going to look like?

Promoting to the next level, achieving a new milestone, and earning an incentive trip are all really big deals. That’s why we’re working through all the details to make sure every achiever feels special, is celebrated, and gets their moment to shine. Look for more details on our Recognition page.

What if I earned attendance to a special event?

Our team is working hard to make these events extra special for you. If you earn attendance to a special event, look for more details in your special invitation.

If I register during overflow registration, will I still be recognized during the event?

Will I still get my ribbons and career-title scraper?

In the conference kickoff kit, consultants who register during general registration will receive:

  • A career-title ribbon, along with any other recognition ribbons earned
  • A career-title scraper (for directors and above who promoted Aug. 1, 2019–June 1, 2020)
  • Other fun items!

Consultants who register during overflow registration are not eligible for a conference kickoff kit.
